I'm sorry but for a constructive comment/question are you actually using DJ equipment to attempt to mix the tracks together?

Hello Anon,
Thanks for your constructive input.
In my defence ive only been mixing since march, i never said the mix was perfect, i didnt realise they were rules to mixing (you will have to lend me the rule book!)
i put the mixes together first time.I do it because i love music not to perfect a mix to pin drop standard.
Alot of people only want to hear the tracks and not too bothered about the mixing i could perfect a mix but my patience is not all that good. I put a mix out weekly so people can hear a track or two on it and maybe go out and purcharse it.Stop me if im wrong , stop me if im wrong. So yes i think it is clear that i use dj equipment maybe its not up to your standard. What can you do ey shit happens.

I understand that you have only been mixing since march which was 8 months ago, which is O.K.
However, I believe that electronic music and DJ culture go hand in hand. Electronic music was meant to be mixed seamlessly with out any interruptions or "trainwrecks." And I do believe that people do want to hear tracks AND good mixing.

I listened to your transitioning and it was as if you were using equipment without pitch control. If you wanted to showcase the tracks for people then you should play the song, have a 2 second pause then play the next.

If you do not believe that proper mixing is essential then i suggest you read up on what "beatmatching" is. No one wants to hear a DJ trainwreck, it destroys the flow.
