Lazy sunday evening post. Tomorrow it's the dreaded monday. Cheer up with some music.
Fuse - Theychx [Warp, 1993]
Richard Hawtin 1993 vs 2007. Far from the superstar dj he is today, far from the nose bleed techno. Fuse's album "Dimension intrusion" showcases Hawtin's early talent and wide arsenal of musical styles. Everything from the depraved and banging acid techno track "Substance abuse" to this beautiful and meditative ambient piece. Pure bliss on many levels. "What's wrong?", "For more enjoyment and greater efficiency", "Take four red capsules, in ten minutes take two more". Solid classic.
Tensnake - I say Mista [Mirau, 2007] (buy)
Ambient not your thing, not even when it's from Richie? Well then, here's more Tensnake and more Mirau for you. This is from his new EP "I say Mista". Good tech house for your pleasure.

Composite profuse - Children of Qana [Bunker, 2007] (buy)
Another slab of electro coming your way. Classic, hard and evil robotic sounding. Originating from Italy, this producer is wrecking shit. EP is called "Roma Aeterna".
Composite profuse - Crc666 [Creme Organisation, 2007]
More blazing stuff from Senior Composite. On the mysterious 'Nagasaki nightriders' acid/electro compilation, also featuring tracks by Cosmic Force, Orgue Electronique, Rude 66 and Beta evers.

Junior Boys - FM (Tensnake Remix) [Domino, 2007]
Like A Child (Carl Craig Remix) and Double Shadow (Kode 9 Remix) was two quite OK remixes. But here's the winner, hands down (I haven't heard the Hot Chip rmx though, hehe). Tensnake transforms the FM track into something very suitable for a packed dancefloor. Sweet, sweet rhythms.
Sage Francis - Black out on white night [Epitaph, 2007]
Sage Francis - Call me Francois [Epitaph, 2007]
Indie-nerd-hiphop! Finally more from our beloved Sage Francis, and a full packed album of him even - wohoo: "Human the death dance". Starts out strong with the first real track, 'Undeground for dummies' then continuing the onslaught with 'Civil obedience' and then just goes nuts from there - nuts as in crazy good; always catchy, but lyrics (rich on references) and flow that kills. Production contributed by giants such as Odd Nosdam, Ant, Buck 65, Alias and Sixtoo ensures vast differances in styles, still nothing that takes away from the 'plot' of the album. An artist and an album that's worth listening to as a whole, not just these tracks I've posted. Call me Francois being more uptempo while Black out on white night is pure melancholy.

The Rice Twins - Can I say [K2, 2007] (buy)
New, easy going and poppy house 12" from the swedish rice duo on K2. Yup, more summertime music here on RC! The b-side 'Goatee' is slower and more of an after hours kind of trip. Apparently the rice twins also plays/played in a indiepop group... well, they sure know how to make pretty songs.

Scape One - Cosmic Waves [Southern outpost, 2006]
The electro sound spreads its mechanical tentacles, here from down below - Australia - via Scape One and his '06 Unstablebeatprotoncharacteristics EP. Monsieur Scape is safe in his sound. Top notch, precise production with all the elements you'd want in an electro joint. Put on your oxygen mask and travel to another planet in another galaxy (far, far away).
DynArec - Secret Tactics [Vaporwave, 2007] (buy)
Dutch(?) constructor of finest electronic vibes, dynArec is back with a new EP: situated in and around dopplereffekt territory with slightly more danceable tunes. This is serious sub marine panzer radar business, aka Combat Elektro™. A wonderful release, "Lagomorph", that has two more superb songs; In your hand and the title track.

Bah, can't wait for tomorrow so here's another post. Great stuff!
Arp Aubert - Nipplegate (Original Mix) [Mirau, 2007] (buy)
Mirau is one of those small, quirky and quality labels that consitently put out great material. I probably listened to Arp Aubert's Actress EP a billion times. Well it's time for new stuff from this German(?) duo. It's more of the same Mirau styled lush minimal/tech-house, all with a delicate feeling. From the EP "Yasminnje".
Jona - Evidence [Get physical, 2007]
Jonathan Troupin is a producer from Belgium I'm not too familiar with. This is blissful minimal like we have come to expect on GPM. Misty and quite ambient in its melodic parts, backed by robust percussion and a firm bassline. A snug and pulsating emo-track. Don't know how I could've missed this one (instant favorite).

Cold - Strobelight Network (Ananda & Eulberg remix) [Exacta.udio, 2007]
Posted before by JBH in one of his listening playlist posts, here's the file for download. Fancy remix by two of the big names, can it go wrong? Nah. Relentless, steady going, and flawless.
Was going to post a track from dynArec's latest output "Lagomorph" [Vaporwave] too but seems my files from it are slightly corrupt. It's great electro, so hold tight while I fetch fresh copies.

Slam - Azure (Part 1) (Original Mix) [Soma, 2007]
Almost ten minutes of energetic summertime soma-electro. Fresh like a cold citrus drink in the sun. Sounds a lot like Ulrich Schnauss if you ask me, and aye that's pretty damn coolio in my book.
